Monthly Wrap-Up: April 2018

Monthly Wrap-Up Meme

Happy May! I’ve been completely MIA this past week with real life craziness, but I wanted to take some time today to sit back and reflect on my April reads. I had a packed month with a lot of strong novels and several not-so-strong ones … but nothing ended up with less than a 3.5 star rating, so I’m counting it as a great month overall!

What I Read

In April, I read 12 books and 4,168 pages.

I did plan to read 12 books in April back when I threw together my monthly TBR … they just weren’t these 12 books. I ended up not starting Mister Tender’s Girl or Bone Music in favor of first reading Not That I Could Tell and The Wicked Deep. Both were library books I gave priority because of their due dates! I’m still happy with my finished stack, which is a predominantly thrillers as usual, but there’s some YA fantasy and even a horror and historical fiction novel thrown in there. Check out my April reads below; all covers are linked to their Goodreads pages.

And that’s a wrap on March!

I can’t believe it’s been another whole month of 2018 – and my first full month of blogging! I’m loving this community so much. It’s been great to discuss my opinions and find so many wonderful new books through all of you.

What I Read

March was another great reading month for me, including four 5-star reads and plenty of others that I thoroughly enjoyed. Lots of mysteries and thrillers, but I did squeeze in a YA fantasy, which I’m dying to get more of in my life.

This month, I tackled 11 books and 3,922 pages. 8 books were ones that I committed to as part of my March TBR, and the only one on my TBR I haven’t checked off yet is This Fallen Prey. I’m in the middle of it now, though, and fingers crossed that I’ll be wrapping up tonight, so I’m still in the clear for March!

Monthly Wrap-Up: February 2018

Monthly Wrap-Up Meme

As yet another month draws to a close, I’m looking back and reflecting on what I got accomplished. Today marks two weeks that I’ve been blogging, and I’m so grateful for all of you that have come along to join me for this crazy ride!

I’m hoping to get in the habit of doing a monthly wrap-up to summarize the books I read, updates on any challenges I’m participating in, and any other exciting tidbits I can think to provide. So, without further ado …

What I Read

This month, I tackled 12 books and had a lot of fun!
