Quote #3

“You can’t tell people what to be, I’m afraid,” said Rosie. “You can only love and support who they already are.”

~ Laurie Frankel

I still stand by the fact that Laurie Frankel’s This Is How It Always Is is one of the most gorgeous, important books I’m going to read this year. It’s such a powerful tale about family, love, and acceptance, and it moved me to laughter and tears more than once.

It can be hard to remember that everyone is enduring their own struggles. A little love can go such a long way in the world, and it’s so important to approach others with open minds and hearts.

In just these first two weeks in the blogging/bookstagram atmosphere, I’ve felt so welcomed and had such a great time getting to know other book lovers. I wanted to end this tag with on a happy note and throw back my appreciation to all of you who are joining me on this journey.

And on that note, I’m going to forgo choosing a handful of people to tag this time around and just say, if this quote speaks to you, if you’ve got other quotes that speak to you and you’re dying to share … well, then … tag! You’re it 🙂

Have a lovely weekend!
